My Name is Emmett Hughes and I am first and foremost, a follower of Jesus Christ.
I am known as the Godsinger, a phrase I coined in 1995 meaning "one who sings to God".
I've dedicated my life and my gifts for the sole purpose of bringing glory to God. I've been a musician and a dedicated
Christian for over forty years.
From 1984 through 1999 I self-released five albums on my own and with other groups. Though I've never been published,
nor have I made a living with my music,
it's not for lack of trying! God has always used me where He sees fit and I follow without question,
using the gifts He gave me however He asks me to.
I've been a worship leader most of my life. I play guitar, keyboards,
bass, drums, and almost any instrument I can pick up, but I am primarily a vocalist.
